This paper is being tabled to set out the UK’s Employment Action Plan in the context of the Government’s “Getting Europe Back To Work” initiative and the Amsterdam remit to exchange best practice on employment policies. Other countries need to consider their own circumstances. We hope they too will agree to produce Employment Action Plans.
