Under the 1975 Industry Act two forecasts are required to be published a year. The Budget forecasts can be found in the The Financial Statement and Budget Report (FSBR), otherwise known as the Red Book.

A note detailing the data definitions and sources of the Summer Forecast is available from HM Treasury. Copies are free to personal callers and at a handling fee of 2.50 pounds by post. Cheques should be made payable to HM Treasury and sent to:
