Submitting your application

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 28 November 2000.

We will write to you a few days of receiving your application to let you that it has arrived.

You can either complete this application form on-line and then email direct to treasury@acxiom.co.uk or you can print a copy of this application form and complete it in black ink and return it to:

Qualifying test

The next stage for candidates whose applications meet our initial selection criteria is to attend a qualifying test.  We will write you in late December 2000 to let you know whether you have been invited to attend a qualifying test.


Dates and Venues

Qualifying tests will be held between 8 and 19 January 2001.

We plan to run qualifying tests as follows:

Belfast (19 January 2001)        

Birmingham         

Cardiff (19 January 2001)

Edinburgh (09 January 2001)        

Leeds (10 January 2001)

London (11, 12, 15, 16, 17 January 2001)

Please show clearly on your application (section 8) which qualifying test you would prefer to attend

If you are unable to attend any particular date during this period, please show this clearly on your application form (section 8).


Results

We will write you towards the end of January to let you know whether you have been successful at the qualifying test stage. If successful, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre.


Assessment centre

Candidates who are successful in the qualifying test will be invited to attend an assessment centre in central London, between 31 January and 28 February 2001.

We will send you further details if you are shortlisted to attend an assessment centre.


Travel expenses

HM Treasury will reimburse reasonable travel expenses for candidates attending a qualifying test or assessment centre. Guidelines will be sent to you if you are invited to attend either of these stages.


Data Protection

Any data about you will be held in secure conditions, with access restricted to those who need it in connection with dealing with your application and selection.Data may also be used for the purposes of monitoring the effectiveness of the graduate recruitment programme but, in these circumstances, all data will be kept anonymous.Personal data relating to your application will be kept in secure conditions for up to five years if you are unsuccessful.If you are successful your data will be passed to HM Treasury personnel department.

We will only be able to process your application if we are able to use your personal data in the ways described above.Please indicate on the application form that you consent to the use of your personal data.
